July 3 Meeting of Spruce Pine Kiwanis
Ken and Connie Sedberry of Sedberry Pottery were our guest speakers for the evening. Ken is a local potter who lives with his family and operates his business in the Loafer's Glory community of Mitchell County. Ken
brought some examples of his work and told about the unpredictability of wood-fired pottery. He also told of his excitement at using local products for glazing and
throwing pots. Thanks to the Sedberry's for joining us on July 3.
